The Surrey League Women's Team WINS the National Women's Team Series 2008.

The Surrey League, with the help of Charlotte Blackman, created a Surrey League women's team to take part in the National Women's Team Series which consisted of eight races throughout the UK. The series was created by Jon Miles and Jenny Gretton way back in 1999 and in that year, Surrey took the honours so winning a second time is great news. Charlotte Blackman, team leader, put together the following thank you to all concerned.

Further details regarding the National Women's Team Series can be found on their website.

Charlotte writes:

Well hello everyone and Congratulations!!!

Just thought id send around an email to you all to make sure that everyone knows the good news….

Thanks to Glyn for giving us the opportunity (and the jersey’s) to take part as a team, and many MANY thanks again to Charlie for relentlessly getting us all organised and motivated for each and every race.

I have put together a list of all our results over the season with appropriate links to the BCF website for anyone looking for photos etc – what’s the point of winning something if you can wallow in the glory!!
